Thanks for tips simple solutions very clear I have one broadhead hitting with fields and two that aren’t but are tight to Heather this will hopefully be the fix, gl this year

I very seldom have any issues sighting in broadheads with field points hitting together. It begins with a bow that is tuned PROPERLY. And I have the correctly spined arrows of choice. I begin with paper tuning fletched arrows as I’m hunting with fletched arrows, not bare shafts. Then I do the walk back system of sighting in off my broadhead along with field points. This is after I have my elevation marks on my sight tape or have my 3 pins set. The walk back system( some nerds call it French tuning but that term disgusts me) is easy and super accurate. If everything is tuned together you shouldn’t have much trouble. If you’re doing a half as job you will never get it RIGHT. ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS!

Everyone has there way but to avoid a lot of this I make sure my arrow flight is perfect during the bare shaft phase of the tuning process. But I appreciate you knowledge brother, God bless.

Bareshaft tuning though paper is what I started doing. You’re absolutely right it’s probably the BEST way. But not everyone can do that. This way is reasonably accurate for functional hunting purposes. I appreciate your time and feedback!

Something I have found with my current setup is that moving my rest wasn't fixing the problem. The difference between the field points and the broadheads was the same just at a different impact point as i moved the rest. I know my bow set up is good (100g points with small low profile broadheads fly perfect) but I do shoot heavy large surface area broadheads. I needed to go from 3 fletch to 4 to increase the lift on the back of the arrow to offset the lift of the broadhead. Once that was done a slight rest adjustment and sight adjustment had me on point. When everything seems to be right with the bow and the numbers should work on the arrow yet the process still isn't working you may need to think outside the box a little to find the answers.

Before you even shoot the broadhead if the tip of your arrow is pointing up your broadhead is automatically going to playing up because it's gonna catch wind in the front

Do you know why broadheads might be very inaccurate (not grouping well) while field points do?

It could be that the insert or broadhead is spent and wobbling as it spins, or it might be that the bow needs to be tuned to the arrow still.

Seems like you would've wanted that arrow perfectly level or slightly nock high instead of nock low.

i noticed i can hear your arrow drag over the rest every time you drew. maybe need to put some moleskin on the launcher?

Ya that would work, but I’ve been ok with out it. So far it hasn’t cost me a shot. I like the accuracy that the solid contact with the rest gives.

The best thing I’ve ever found for wrapping the launcher is the product bowlers use to line the finger holes in bowling balls. It’s thin stretches into weird shapes and has adhesive on the backside. I then use dental floss to wrap around various parts to keep it place. Done with a little care it will last hundreds and hundreds of shots. You can get those strips at a bowling alley. It is deadly silent.

Buy Magnus stinger broadheads. No tuning required. Assuming you bow has already been paper and walkback tuned.

Bought a new mathews v3x, field points out to 40 yards I can hit a softball. When using magnus buzzcuts and black hornet ser razor it's shots left, do yoh think I need to take it to the bow shop to have it tuned?

Paper Tune your arrows bare shaft first, then fletch them. Then once you fletch them shoot your broadheads and check them one more time. Knock tune if they aren’t flying. The ones that fly the best will strictly be your hunting arrows.
