What you can do if you are stuck in the wild unexpectedly and you dont have string, you could take the shoelace off of your shoe and use it as a string to build the bow

the most critical thing that was not explained is the importance of using the correct woods for this method...without this information you could spend your life trying to start a fire this way to no effect..the explanation of the technique was great though

Yes - live free or die! From the state that has inmates make those license plates, where I can’t bring weed out of Maine because somehow citizens of NH have VERY limited freedom, and there is a HUGE drive to make everyone Catholic. In any case this was a great video,.

I can’t see a skirt being that convenient in the wilderness… Bugs flying up in there, briers scratching, etc. Unless it is for aeration in a hot climate

I went to wilderness in Utah for a few months. My fastest bow drill fire was 14 seconds -from standing to getting a coal then putting it into the nest and blowing to flame

This was a little bit miss leading. The most important part is the top piece that holds the top of the spindle in place. He had a rock for that part.. I would love to have seen the hole in the rock in detail.
