How to build a deck like an Artist

Spent the last couple months building a deck for my parents in my free time!
I will be following this compilation video up with more detailed segments. But in the meantime, if you have any questions about something I did in this video, please comment below!

Nice deck! I was in the military worked on a deck. When I got out I learned to build decks. My last name is Decker. I’m writing this sitting on a deck. My husband Dick just brought out a deck of upper deck football cards so we can open them on our deck. I built this deck about 10 years ago and put the boards together like that deck floor no problem. I do like the deckorative skirting that you placed under the deck. Good luck with future decks and deck videos. What a coincidence!

Just curious where you got the wire panel fencing. I am looking to do something similar at my house

I got it from my local lumbar yard. They are by a company called “Wild Hog”. wildhogproducts.com

Unfortunatelly due to no expansion gaps between the top boards there is to be expected after the first rain/winter season the deck could be severely damaged/screws cracked. Seem to be a learning curve for most of us. Take care and let us know.

Built lots of decks this way. The wood is very wet and will have gaps when it drys out 🤷‍♂️
