This style is can also be really easy to thrift, especially oversized leather bomber jackets and blazers, which would be much more expensive to buy new!

My aesthetics are really messed up because I had no idea what my aesthetic/style was and my closet was a big explosion of random, different aesthetics but now I found your channel and found out my aesthetic is actually romantic academia in the morning and dark academia at night (like a cherries and cinnamon kind of vibe) which is super weird and even weirder when my whole closet is mainly streetwear so.... BUT THANK YOU for clearing things up in terms of style/vibe/aesthetic and now I even have matching perfumes and everything so THANK. YOU.

Great video! You described the trend well and it’s interesting to see your take on it as I live in Australia and there’s kind of a beachy version of this here especially during the summer. I’d love to see more reference photos of people with larger / plus size bodies as being a size 16 it can be hard to envision the looks for myself when all the images show thin people. Not meant as a criticism but a suggestion ☺️
