This weekend we built a floating dock! our 12ft Floating dock uses 6 55 gallon barrels to keep us afloat. This project has been something we wanted to accomplish since our renovation last summer! So happy to finally have a dock in the water! It is a terrible time to do anything with lumber because the prices are so high but this project has already proved itself worth it. Can't wait for all the memories made!

#GoingOffGrid is hard work, but it is so worth it! We could not do this without the help of our family and friends! Since May we have been renovating this abandoned cabin and turning it into our full-time home! We are moving into our #oneroomcabin ! We still have a lot of renovations to do but it is almost complete! #cabinrenovation #movingoffgrid #offgridhomes #livingoffgrid #cabintour #cabinhomes #offgridsolar #goingoffgrid #cabinmakeover #offgrid

Growing up together as high school sweethearts, we got married at 19 in August of 2016. We have always dreamed of a life of adventure! We started traveling the US any free weekend we had, finding free campgrounds wherever we could, and even converting our truckbed into a home for three weeks to make the trip across the country. After 4 years of college and 2 corporate jobs, we decided this typical lifestyle is not for us. Because of RONA, our jobs let us work remotely full time and so we decided to take the leap. We started this #goingoffgridvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but hope to share helpful tips along the way! We have no plans to slow down anytime soon, and we are incredibly thankful to be able to jump into this lifestyle. :)
