In this video, I bring you along as I build a greenhouse base using paving slabs using a dry mix of 6 parts grit sand to one part cement. Watch me as I prepare the foundations, tamp the ground level and mix the sand and cement before laying the paving slabs on top.

This might be a really silly question but does the greenhouse just sit on top or do you secure it to the paving slabs?

Not silly, I was thinking the same thing. If wind comes that thing is flying.

Really helpful. I’ve put flags down directly on the earth and it’s ok but having watched this I’m going to lift them and put a sand/cement mix down and re-lay them.

I was going to do the same lay the flags on earth as my house is only 6x4 was it ok as it was or did you have trouble with it
