How To Build a House on the Moon in Minecraft [Tutorial]

Have you ever wanted to build a house on the moon in Minecraft? Today that's possible! As promised, here is a tutorial of my Crescent Cottage Minecraft Build! This is a much more in-depth guide to the build than usual, and I hope you're able to do this yourself!
Should I do more builds like this? Is there anything specific you'd like to see more of? I'm still pretty new to the KZfaq scene, so any suggestions are welcomed! Let me know in the comments below!

I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was so cute. The world I have with my friends doesn’t have the editor thing so I made it from scratch. It took 3 days to complete but I think it was worth it. It’s super cool

I‘m building it right now without the editor, it’s time consuming, but so far I like what I‘ve done. I also slightly change the tutorial build slightly to fit my world

I seriously can't wrap my head around these tools. Like, I most likely could follow step by step tutorial but not in a million years could I do something original with them. Then again, this feels so much non-minecrafty to me that I'm not sure if I even would want to try. I do love this build though. Thank you for including the dimensions for the moon shape.

"tools" is another word for they cheated. Editors are modding tools. It's real easy to push out new designs constantly when it's so effortless to really design them. I'd been playing on PS3 the past year and made an entire functional city I designed myself without "tools". It wasn't impossible, I did it completely alone and now I can brag I did it without these supposed "tools". I'm not impressed by cheated designs that weren't done in the normal game as it was intented. ANYONE can do this. It takes REAL TALENT to design this in-game like was intended. Everyone wants to play games by their own rules...

@@Mstea0149 nice work on your build! just as building in creative, survival and hardcore is different, so are these tools. you may find them to be cheating, but not everyone needs to be a pure gamer to get enjoyment from them. to me it sounds like your world view could be extended a bit. when i summarize what you’ve said the idea you are subscribing to- how does it deal with tattoos? if you aren’t free handing it, is it cheating? what about a design for a website? if you use computer to do it and stead of a drafting table, is that cheating? are cad programs cheating? if you aren’t plotting your x y and z during your 3d print, is that cheating? none of it is cheating. these mods exist to help people. if you broke your leg, would you walk without a boot /cast/ crutches?

@@Mstea0149 damn who put a stick up your ass KKKKKKKKK ppl can play how they'd like. some peopl just find it easier and mor efficient to use tools such as world edit. it isn't "cheating". if you can manage just fine without them, good for you. no need to crap on other people for finding more efficient ways to play a game, plugin or not

I know its a hard ask, but is there any way of getting a block by block tutorial for us console players without world edit? Dosnt even have to be block by block maby even just layer by layer? Idk but id really like to get something like this in my world without taking forever to just get thru the planning stages

This would've been an amazing tutorial but I'm on PS4, and trying to do this all block-by-block without much direction (since I can't use the tool commands) is super difficult! Is there any way you could make a version of this that doesn't require commands? No worries if not, just would appreciate the help!

@@anna-vj6qi when I use to play on Xbox builidng was much easier (Btw: usually I make complicated builds some of my own some inspired by youtube) Mobile is just a whollle different concept and its much harder 💀✌️

Amazing build!! Im trying to build this in my survival world. Is there any way possible Maybe you could put some sort of dimensions at minute 2:00 right before you add the emeralds.. Im like completely confuzzled.. Im on xbox and dont have access to the tools you're using.. When you are shapeing it with that b bb command, it just adds so many extra blocks on the tips im feeling crossed eye.. trying to freeze it take a screen shot and count the blocks at 2:00 it's no longer 13 across its like 17 and the tips it's like 7 i thibk one the bottom at 5 on the top and im soo lost.. Im sorry im rambling.. Any help on this beautiful build would be soo amazing.. thanks if you read this !!

Looks gorgeous! I wish you would do some survival friendly tutorials. Cuz I play bedrock so I don't have world edit or litematica. It would also help your channel grow more!

@@shovel241 No no.. I am not asking you to do the tutorial in survival. Nor do I want you to do a block by block tutorial. But do it in a way that's easier to follow along when we are playing Survival and easier for those who don't have the world edit knowledge.

@@shovel241 You can look at some of Bdubs' videos for example.. where he doesn't really teach you how to copy that build but teach you the Styles, designs and ideas so that you can create similar builds without looking at a block by block tutorial. Although I should not tell you how to make your contents.. do what you feel comfortable with.. no doubt the builds will be beautiful.

@@pinakijana9479 thank you for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind for my next one! Although I do like the idea of growing more with survival friendly tutorials, I am trying to usher people towards using world edit. That’s kinda my rough goal for this channel. It can be intimidating, but I think that’s mainly because finding good learning material is hard. A lot of my content is geared towards making it more accessible to the beginners. My building ability opened up when I learned world edit, and I think others will have a similar experience. I’ll still try to make them more survival adaptable in the future, but the only reason I can make such extravagant builds is by using mods.

I can't seem to find how to install voxelsniper on 1.19, do you need to set up a server or something? Looked all day and can't find how to download. Also how do you make the crescent shape? Keep up the great builds!

Digga, das ist ein Krampf zu bauen, vor allem im Survival. Ich kann nur sehr davon abraten, den Mond zu bauen. Ich habe zwei Tage damit verbracht, die Materialien zu farmen und am Ende flog ich doch im Creative. Lasst das bleiben
