Really enjoy these videos Otto. Keep em coming. Quality build of a real performance motor... I'm rebuilding a classic Mini into a fast road. How do you know how to build yours...?? A lot more involved than an A series...!!

It's not that hard. Just research and ask a friendly engine builder to guide you.. check and check again!

Cheers. Get some high temp aluminium rattle can paint. I was lucky and got the gearbox ice blasted by my powder coat guy. Get some degreaser and clean it off 1st, then spray it.

thats not your knock sensor in the midle of the head...its the temperature sensor for the dash...knock is on the back of the engine

No knock sensor at the back on these early models - I'm thinking it doesn't have one as it is the original n/a head...
