@@C0RZ not just clock wise also counter clock wise just spin it either way and see if it works then i found out its the way you put the crank

They actually can! They can be used to add onto dragsters and other vehicles. But IMO, the main purpose to just for fun really. Creating a machine that creates a satisfying noise, and looks cool. There’s just a certain satisfaction behind it.

@@colbyhergenhein6208 just found an alternative option. I used the black technic piece with seven holes. There is just an excess hole sticking out of the crankshaft but its fine.

I assume you mean the tan crankshaft pieces. You can use 2 LEGO beams 2x0.5. The piece ID is 41677. Then you also have to replace the axle with a 1x4. Not the 1x3

If you’re talking about the dark grey piece, it’s a 4 stud long axle with a stopper at the end. A regular 4 stud long axle also works

There's now a downloadable parts list file on the Discord server (invite link on KFPlus' YT channel) as well as instructions on how to use it to order all the parts for a single cylinder on BrickLink.

You can use the regular half technic pieces. The ones that look very similar to the crankshaft pieces, except they don’t stick out. You only need a longer axle

Nowadays i use olive oil as lubricant and it is easy to clean in washing machine. I commented that when i didnt know how to clean the pieces easily

You can use 2 long bricks with pin holes to substitute

You can lubricate with anything sloppy really. I dab a Q-Tip in canola oil and rub it around the piston chamber

There is another problem, it doesnt start running even if i use the vacum

Be sure the valve is offset 90’ from the piston, and the piston chamber is well lubricated

The vacuum creates suction which pulls the piston up. The valve swaps then and the air if forced out of the chamber. Then it repeated

Actually no. It’s my personal design, I was just inspired by him. It’s really difficult to create a new mechanisms a designs so I’d appreciate it if your aren’t angry or mad at me

The race piston and the intake/throttle even the flywheel has the same thing

Hey man, don’t call people out on things you’re not 100% certain on. For one, the throttlebody and engine block aren’t directly taken from my tutorial. As for the piston, it was _not_ originally by me, and has really become a public and free-use design at this point. Next time, put some thought into your criticism and make it constructive before you try to discourage people. BIC makes really great content too you know!
