I'm so glad you clarified what midrange is. So many people think that having a mid to high curve, 3 and 4 mana value cards, means that your are midrange and that isn't the case. It's the ability to pivot from aggro to control and vice versa that defines midrange, since the strategy lies somewhere in the middle, and the deck makes that pivot post sideboard. Great video and I hope that people wise up to the lingo so we can have a more substantial discourse on the game. Thanks again Dev!

Yo my man... Idk if you'll read this.. but I am so stupid proud you.. it might not mean much coming from a stranger, but you've grinded this channel so hard. and there is not a single mtg KZfaqr or streamer that is as unique and dedicated as you in my eyes. You create original scripts and content for every video wether it's a deck or a conversation topic or just doing something you're interested in. It's always fresh and entertaining even if I don't plan on making the deck you are talking about at the time. I've switched souly to the commander format. And I don't find myself watching mtg content anymore, all besides yours, just cuz it's fun and engaging to be apart of your videos. You're so real and down to earth, you make me feel like we're friends in every video when I've never even spoke to you. You deserve the world man I swear. Don't ever get discouraged, I know there are so many like me that love you as person not mention your content. You've single handedly kept me here on this channel with your hard work and attitude towards this game. You are and I can't stress this enough a legend.. I started playing this game when I was 11 and I started watching you not long after that, I'm almost 20 now. you're a role model and a hero to me sir. I remember the first time I had a good job and was able to build one of your non budget decks and how excited I was. I can't tell you how many games your budget fnm decks won me, how many sealed preleases you got me through and so much more. You are a beast. I apologize for the essay man but I could honestly go on forever about you and what you did for me. I'll end this with saying I didn't have much growing up. But I had this game, and one night a week where I could forget all the drama and nastiness in my life playing with your budget decks and winning and having that little something to make me feel smart and special for the 5 hours I got to play fnm. Thank you man... Thank you..

I agree, midrange is in a great place in standard. Aside from the meta decks, I've been enjoying a golgari enchant/graveyard midrange deck. And just today I cooked up a gruul werewolvss midrange deck for the first time since Crimson Vow came out & it performed great. Honestly, I can't wait for the New Capenna triome nonsense. I think it could make midrange even better & more diverse.

Oh my god so so so so so good. Most videos out there are for people who are brand new or total edgelords. As an intermediate player midrange songs like the perfect place to land between aggro and control and you just let us all have a very genetle wander through all the theory whilst showing the practicalities too. I will return to this video time and again. Thank you.

Perfect timing. I was playing a lot of aggro humans and merfolk, but a lot of control and midrange decks have been hating on that lately. So, I adapted my humans deck to midrange for tokens and cards after my creatures die.

Great video. It is amusing to think back when I first started playing MTG and bought my first precon: Dominator, Exodus. LOL I could have picked Slivers but I went with mono blue midrange tempo control. Soon after I made my first deck, mono green stomp and Cleric tribal midrange (Onslaught block). I think my favorite is Midrange Tempo after making so many decks over the years, least that style seems to be the most flexible :P

Midrange is my fav. Aggro don't let you play (ends quickly, where is the fun?), control don't let you play (boring and don't let the other player play, where is the fun?) In midrange, you get to PLAY. There's the fun :D
