Here is a little trick with the chests not opening on the top half. Put slabs on the top half of the block and then you can open it.

Here is a thing that you forgot: You forgot to put the inner-house lever to close the entrance so if a thief finds it, and pulls the outer-house lever, he’s never going to go in until he gives up.
