Necrons are a great team/army for new/younger players because they’re pretty easy to paint.

They’re great for metallic base coats followed by contrast paints and washes. You can get a pretty good standard of paint job very easily.

I’m liking them a lot after reading the new rules. So good to paint contrast over metallic.

Probably going to do the ancient method from my medieval past. Prime black, dry brush Chainmail. I still have an old screw top pot that’s good enough for dry brushing.

Necrons are what got me into 40K. ❤️🤖 I would read over the Codex for hours. I love the faction.

I didnt realize the elites were optional till i got the killteam. A happy coincidence because i already had immortals and was wanting a full deathmark squad.

I was also thinking about using the Royal Warden as a Despotek, and then making the Despotek in the kit with a Tesla Carbine. He is a good bit bigger though... will see! It's a shame they didn't include the Plasmancer as one of the leader options.

Good video, though I will add that Tabletop Impulse’s video makes a few good points about build order & model choices - such as you only ever need one Deathmark & which set of legs you need to use for a given model. Also he deserves more subs.

I think I will go with: - Aprentek, Despotek, 2 deathmark, 1 Guardian. The despotek could be a Royal Warden in regular 40k or even an Immortal, same for the guardian. Any 2 of them (Despotek+Guardian as Immortal / Deathmarks) can be extended with a box of Immortals/Deathmark, so you will have 7 of them for regular 40K.

Thanks for the video, if you want to have variety, how many miniatures come in the box? How many can I mount?, by arms, legs, torso etc? I ask it to know if I can make more combinations for different games, thank you very much. Edit: sorry if you say it in the video, not my main lenguage

You've got some variety with the deathmarks and the Immortals, but the leader and new models don't have any options.

I never thought I'd say this BUT......I think I'm actually warming to the necrons that are included with the Imperium magazine...Things like the Triarch Stalker & serpentine (I know that's not their name) canoptek wraiths & canoptek Spyder are well worth the £8.99 per week. On a down note...I'm 23 magazines behind 😣😣😣
