Hi, Kathryn, and welcome to the DIY DESIGN KZfaq channel. You asked a good question. The hole for the cable could be smaller, but I wanted a bit of clearance in this prototype.

Пропил должен быть побольше, чтобы фанера свободно ходила. Так будет лучше. А так все отлично👍
