Question! I love the idea, but I don't know the first thing about PVC pipes. I need a garage to keep my project car's engines out of the rain, but I'm concerned about the paving stones. What kind of paving stones do I need to get? How do I prevent the pipes from slipping out of the pavers? And what length of pipe are you using? Where do you buy your tarps from? Thanks, I appreciate any help

I like the ingenuity, but you do realize that you can buy a 10' PVC pipe for about $3-4 at Home Depot or Lowe's. Fittings cost only about $1 each. So rather than cutting down trees and making your carport look needlessly ghetto, you could have spent about $10-15 more and had something stronger that looked like it was professionally designed and required much less work to build.

cheap tarp has no UV ray protection and wont last more than 6 months

So buy a cheap tarp twice a year or buy something more expensive once a year, up to you hoss
