Another great video Red. Definitely following the Second Brain setup and have had an initial run at building one. You’ve given me a lot more ideas as to how it could be improved though. I watch a lot of Notion videos on YT, but yours are the ones I especially look out for and have helped me immeasurably.

This is really practical and hands on, thank you for making this. Most of the Notion videos seem to be people showing off their hyper complicated systems where the newbie gets completely overwhelmed in 3 minutes. I want to thank you for making tutorial that start from strach instead of showing a complete template. It is a huge help for non-tech familiar and beginner users that we can customize the template without worrying mess things up and learn other features during your step by step explanation. I have watched a few other peoples tutorial, and you are the most helpful. It is a lot work for making this long video, and I really appreciate your time, efforts and thinking of beginer/non-tech familiar users.

Thank you so much for a thorough tutorial. I searched and searched but couldn't find it. I was about to leave Notion all together as I was not been able to make it work for me. But thanks to you I'm back to Notion and now I have a clear idea of how I will create my notion. I feel like Notion second brain videos are so saturated and so many people either don't really have a comprehensive understanding their versions are rudimentary or they do partial walkthroughs to encourage you to buy templates. You have such a greate walk through! So easy to follow but really detailed in properly understanding the functionality of Notion and the second brain, thank you!

@@jondrive8801I'm sorry to hear that! I've been using notion for almost 2 years and I have my entire life in notion! You can basically create custom software at this point, it's so versatile. If you would like some helpful templates I'd be happy to send you some of mine! Or would make it easy to onboard onto notion and from there you can do your own learning when you have time:)

Welcome to the world of issues. Watching the video, it looks very impressive. However, when you use it on a day-to-day basis, it can be frustrating. You will encounter a lot of problems. Enjoy🤣. For the past couple of weeks I am watching tutorials for Notion and this video appeared at my homepage a hour ago. This is the first video I see with detail explanation and full template creation. Even Thomas Frank videos were not so well explained in my opinion. I will definitely subscribe to your channel and watch most of the videos you created! i am brand new to notion and I created my second brain page because of you! I am having trouble trying to get a calendar view on my dashboard as well has having my subtasked tasks show up on my project calendar (just showing the project due date). I wanted to incorporate a daily checklist as well but i have no idea how to and this is all super overwhelming! I am a visual person and would love a video on incorporating graphs and visuals to second brain to show more progress. you're such a great teacher thank you so much for spreading this for free.
