These small DIY tabletop aquaponic systems provide hours of education and fun in homes and classrooms throughout the world. We have worked on this design for several years and built nearly 100 of these small units at our Aquaponics 101 Workshop for Teachers. Built from items you can find at any home store they provide a creative platform to grow fish and plants teach about a variety of academic subjects.

There's no sound on this video which is a shame because it looks like a great system. Tried a different browser and the sound still doesn't work..

I read somewhere that if you give your media guard a spin it will break up an roots that might try to get in.

There is audio, check your speaker connections and volume. Eventually KZfaq will create closed captioning that goes along with the video.

I don't know how the heck you got your 12" tube into the 5gal bucket seal, from the inside! Very frustrating part that makes me have no fun! ;-) Great video though.

We used some silicone lubricant and some to help it slide through better. It is a tough angle though.

Try using a different browser. Others have suggested in might be an issue with bluetooth speakers or headphones. See if you can hear it through headphones. Thanks for your interest.

Sorry about that. Not sure what is happening but several folks have had trouble with the sound. Are you using a bluetooth speaker? Have a look at this video on the ACES KZfaq Channel at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mJqnrdKg0piagmw.html and see if you can get sound.
