I joined during the VRA 1.0 era. Best course I've invested in. If you are serious about making a difference on KZfaq, this is where it's at. Thank Sean and the rest of the VRA fam for being awesome and an amazing community. 💯

I agree. I have been in Sean's VRA for a few years. It just keeps giving back more information--for free. Although he keeps on saying that part of it may become a subscription program in the future. It is currently a buy now and continue to get free ideations in the future deal. It's an awesome deal!

This video is thought provoking. So far, all of my content on KZfaq are free videos to help fathers navigate divorce and family court. But I can see with your video that with something like kajabi, I might be able to provide more value added work products for my audience.... that I cannot do on a KZfaq video.

I own a technology and digital media business, have a degree in Radio-TV Production & film/drama, etc. and taught for 18 years so my background definitely prepared me to do this kind of stuff. For me, it is only one of my education and technology projects but I have been successful with it in the past as well as now. With AI-assisted course creation, one can create courses faster but be SURE that you make it your own by editing if you choose this route. Good luck everyone but remember, you make your own luck by kicking yourself in the a--- everyday to keep going. Do it your way. Don't look for answers from others. Learn what you can from them then do it DIFFERENTLY!

Ok, the main hang up for me is how do you actually sell your course. Step by step. I need someone to actually document the steps. I’ve been told everything but shown nothing. Not a slight to you but how ?

Watching this from the beginning and yes there’s work involved but not like chipping at rocks with a pickaxe. Lol. I hate figuring out how to edit my website so I avoid it. It is hard. I need to learn how to do it. Trying to upload a picture, edit it, caption it, etc is time consuming and can have challenges (size is too small or wrong format). But once it’s done I can earn money off it. I need to figure this out and really get focused on my website.

The logic is there, but as someone who has followed all the steps, be ready for failure alot. I spent 6 months creating a course, had a pre-sales group with feedback from customers/subscribers as I was creating the course, had a landing page, did youtube and fb ads, and got maybe 6 sales in a span of 2 years. My course isn't even expensive. Lol. Fail!!! Definitely went negative on ad spend and my time. Nobody hears about the failures like my situation. Good luck to you all. Maybe I'll try again in 2024 with the course, for now I'm going back to my core business.

@@ryan_darks I won't give up, just putting it on halt until 2024. Spent way too many resources and time for negative ROI. Nobody hears my kind of stories, it is only the success ones. I did all the steps. My email list has 800 targeted contacts. You can see I am active on KZfaq and actually have a business. Selling online courses is super tough.

Hi how are you doing? I go by Rev.Fred nice to see you. This video was fantastic and you gave me great info. I’m looking forward to following up and getting more information. I’ve already created an online course. I’ve already done a lot of the things that you recommend. I have a KZfaq channel. I’ve been doing a podcast on it for a while. I’m at episode 41 I just have very few followers, and not even close to being at a point where I can monetize but I think I’m in the right path to do the right thing as you mention in this video I’m a pastor there’s not any money to be made as a pastor but it is something I love to do I love to help people, my course along the same lines I’m looking forward to figuring out what to do next. I’ve also done a lot of different jobs in order to make money while I’m working in the ministry and I have recently lost. My job that supported my ministry work this gives me the opportunity and the time to focus on my online course.I just am not ready to pay in just yet.

Hi Reverend, have you tried using paid ads to boost your client base? If not you can offer a free product and build your contact base. Google a local digital ad company near you and they can assist. Good luck and God Bless.

Hi! Thanks for this video. I have been toying around a course idea for two years now. My problem was that I wanted to build a super Cadillac course with all the bells and whistles. I reality what the average client needs might be a simple Toyota Prius. I have decided to take the plunge and release the simplified course as soon as possible. Thanks for the inspiration!

1:43:00 as a chef I can confirm this as fact. Coffee changes flavor profiles as it changes temperatures (like most foods) I strongly advise trying it black. Most people don't enjoy coffee, they enjoy the sugar and fat added to it

Thanks Sean, I can relate a lot to the joke about "but my website is under construction, make sure to save the bookmark, the course is coming" 🤦🏻‍♀️. If you are a solopreneur and with a modest budget, it can get overwhelming at some point to wear so many hats. I've been slowly working on a big certificate course for wellness practitioners yet that was definately a mistake. I should have earher focus either on a membership community creating bits of content every month and then uniting some of them in a course or creating one of a few smaller courses to grow the community as well. There are many people who make big income with affordable courses. Not to discount the value of expenses programs (if you have potential clients for that). What is important more and more with time is to simplify things and workflow as much as possible. As getting older you will want to enjoy life more with free time and not to juggle complex business systems. And Charlene is lovely indeed. She was one of the first people talking about SMM who I watched and liked on youtube 🌻.

Thanks so much, Sean for this podcast! It was fire 🔥🔥🔥! I really learned a lot which would help me in my journey as a course creator and aspiring KZfaqr. I'm glad I came across your channel just about a week ago! You have so much impacted my journey as a coach, creator and aspiring KZfaqr! And I must say, I admire your faith in God and your willingness to identify with God even on a secular platform like KZfaq. Stay blessed, Sean!

@Sean Cannell It should be noted that in order to be an affiliate, some creators require that you've purchased their course yourself. Others are fine with it if you don't (smart). I understand the importance of recommending products that you use and approve of. However, while some courses are on my bucket list, after following/studying the creators for so long, I feel qualified to recommend the products to help my tribe! What could potentially be a win-win-win is, unfortunately, a loss for all.

@Sean: My struggle is the content. I have a niche. I have a list of courses that solve a problem in that niche. However, I don’t know how to deliver it. Should it be PowerPoint? Video only? Folks, don't come to sites like this and expect a magic formula. This is a BUSINESS like anything else. There's no exact PROCESS either. Just do it and make it different and better than your competition. I have been making thousands and thousands as a content writer every month for 10 years. I'm creating online courses now too and i never saw this guy's videos until today. DO IT YOURSELF and don't look for a magic potion. The magic is within yourself.
