Sorry, but that seems to be complete bull for me, the exercises he give are not very effective to say the least. Top 3 should be something like pull ups/pull downs in various grips, overhead press variation and some rear delts exercise. That will give V-taper, not same fancy exercises like goblet squat.

So you're more advanced than some guys here, stfu and BUILD on this guys suggestions instead of demeaning it. He clearly stated that he is helping with the illusion of the V taper, pull ups are hard as fk to a lot of people which would lead to failure and discouragement to even continue. sheesh you guys . total idiots, if you know a better way to do something then stfu, this video wasn't for you. These aren't v taper exercises. At the end he explains doing these exercises makes the illusion that you have a v taper because those body parts will be bigger

As a guy born with big hips and narrow shoulders here's how to get a v taper. Be lean, big back, cap out your shoulders and dont neglect the rear delts..everything else genetics will determine..time start accepting what you got and quit worrying about shit. I'll never be as wide as this guy here but I'm thick and do have the 3d effect, so yeah....peace

You're growing the top and bottom of your frame in order to create an illusion that your waist looks small therefore providing you with that V shape as your shoulders which have grown to be wider by doing things like side laterals extend out way past your waste, then your well developed lats create that V shape...
