Hey I like this video, particularly the ideas in the second half about model railway houses. A product I also found useful for buildings for model railways was Elumpa Railroad Buildings Alchemist - find it on google mentioning how to build a model railway if you want

There are several ideas for diy railroad layout construction Find a proven set of plans online Find a colleague who wants to build one too so you have another person to encourage you (I learned these and why they work from Jareks Hobby Club site )
