I'm thinking about using your arm and gear design and reworking it to fit Atlas 2024 from Boston Dynamics. I want to 3D print a copy of Atlas and use two Arctos robotic arms for his upper torso. As legs needs to be much stronger. But I need to start somewhere.

What Software do u use to run that robotarm?

Really great build. Why would you use a complex cycloidal drive over planetary gear arrangement ?

I think it's to get rid of our dear old friend Mr.Backlash. Cycloidal drive is Mr.Backlash's worst enemy. Planetary gear arrangement can be an acquaintance.

I downloaded the CAD files. The project is very interesting. I found some small flaws in the cycloidal design. The cycloidal would be more accurate if it were made in metal. The movement of the links gives small jerks.
