Thanks for producing this. Very helpful. I am surprised that you don't put adhesive on the root edge of the fin.

The loc n fin/ring combo seems to be a superior way to ensure the critical epoxy fillets for the rings and fin roots are done correctly. Why don't the instructions of more kits use this method? Can this method be done on any kit with a pre-slotted body tube?

We are producing more kits with this method. But this way of building the fin can outside the airframe, then installing has been used for a long time.

What do you thin your epoxy with? Does thinning it slow it or do you use slow cure epoxy and thin it? Thanks!

To launch this kit, the only things you need to buy separate is a motor, motor casing, and explosive (decoupling) charge for the chute, correct? Am I missing anything?

That is correct Jack. You'll need epoxy for the build, paint for finish. Motor to launch, most launch with a group that supplies launch equipment. Checkout tripoli.org or nar.org to learn how to join one of the organizations. Thanks for watching!

What if I would like to use an aero pack retainer? I need to use the one to be epoxied or the flanged one?
@locprecision5422 жыл бұрын
You can use the glue on version.
