On this episode I build a TV Stand / Media Console based on an Credenza I had built on the channel about 2 years ago...the Bad Larry. For this build I had help from a friend and fellow KZfaqr, Shaun Boyd from Shaun Boyd Made This. He showed me a few new methods for using templates to make pieces, and using some fancy drawer hardware.

I am finding this hilarious because this video is the culmination of my day. I have been listening to you, Mike, and Ben all day on the Modern Maker Podcast. Measuring out from your center line on the top and bottom panels, will give you both dados for the drawer panels. Top and bottom.

Thanks Chris, excellent design IMHO and very well explained, the drawings and animations really help to follow the steps. Your shoutouts to Shaun’s work was very nice, his work is great as well. About the forces on the support, think about the points about which the beams try to rotate, when a force is applied on each of short support studs. I do believe the stand is plenty strong enough.
