Breaking the wall and placing the trough first is one way, and then line up kairuku, then break the trough and build the wall. However, this farm is not recommended if not in single player.

Enable the PVP. In the general settings, there's an option for enabling PVE. Leave that unchecked.

If a baby dies before reaching juvenile stage (10% maturity) you can't harvest the body, not just the penguins but any dino, on single player defult settings most babies starve before reaching 10% so increase baby mature speed at least enough to make sure they reach 10% before they die.

Does that often happen? If it occurs frequently, how about making another floor with a stone ceiling on the foundation. You'll have to change your farm design, but it's the only thought that comes to me right now. I'll let you know again when I find a good way.

Oh... I'm really sorry. I usually play Sp, so I forgot to say the game settings. If it's an official server, this farm isn't efficient. As you know, baby Kairuku dies early and the harvesting efficiency is poor. It needs at least 2.5 times the maturation rate to fully grow. Thanks for the comment!

What you need to do is to keep a moschops in the pit on aggressive. It will eat the unclaimed babies and hold the polymer until it decays. The real trick is to stagger the egg laying so that the moschops always has some polymer on it due to the 30 minute decay rate. In that event you will want more birds (taller or longer structure build) so that you can always count on the moschops having some on it no matter when you check it.

Do you claim them, wait for them to grow and then kill or just leave them unclaimed. Can unclaimed babies still grow? I am playing on Xbox pve

I think you've probably mistaken 'enable mating' for 'enable wondering'. 😅

I still don’t know I have been trying to mess around with it for 2 hours now and what I know is if you leave the babies unclaimed they die 2 mins later from starvation. And you can’t kill a claimed penguin even with pve disabled. So maybe you have to claim each one, put food in their inventory and then wait for them to grow but I haven’t tried that yet. What I am doing is using 0.01 mating interval and letting the babies starve and eat with moschops

If you play in pve, you won't be able to kill the babies...

Does it mean that the catwalk cannot be placed on the other side?

If the catwalk does not place even if you try from a different angle, how about place another foundation and a wall, then place a catwalk and connecting

@@khoavn82 still no, I just had to keep flying from red ob to that oil area to get poly every time I needed it. But I did always get a lot of poly bc I have a maxed out poly moschops to get me poly. But I still would rather have a poly farm to get poly then need to go across the map to get poly.

So anyway the problem I was trying to fix is: I'm having trouble actually throwing my 'Hesperornis' down onto the ground like you did in the video (meaning I cannot throw it at all in that small room)...why did all of your HUD Screen Text disappear just before you threw down your creature? (Did you turn off something before throwing it?)

@@KingOfGamesss I turned off the HUD to show the throwing scene well. You can turn off the Hud by pressing the backspace key. :D

If you are playing in the official, you cannot place the feeding trough over the wall. If you are playing in Sp, you can turn 'disable structure collision command' option to place a feeding trough. This option is located on the General Options tab.

@@grantplummer6997 In single player, you don't need 6 female because you can control the mating speed and egg hatching speed and maturation speed.

You can't kill an unclaim baby in pve. In pve you have to claim to kill. Sorry for not helping.

It allows you to position the Penguins in the correct position. Once they're set you could take the troughs away if you'd prefer.

@@TomyAllen Ah, ok. And on the pengquins that hatch, how do you set up so your moschops is killing them all so fast. Do you claim the babies, raise them then unclaim to slaughter each time? Or are you having some way to make them grow up without ever claiming?

@@FurlowT If you read the description he is playing on singleplayer with maturation rates boosted. On official youd have to raise them and then unclaim. As a pro tip: harvest them while they are still adolescents. You gain more organic polymer and prime Meat as well.

@andrew pio If you throw it downwards from a 3rd person perspective, it often doesn't move.

If you put stone in their inventory they won’t move and then you can take it out a couple of seconds later

If you wanna tame one I highly recommend using tranq darts. Tranq arrows kill them half the time / :

I'm pretty sure kairukus hatch their own eggs. They like living mini air conditioners.

Except for desert and snow biomes, they will hatch automatically. It is even better if you install an air conditioner.

I'm really sorry if you made this farm on the official server. This farm is inefficient in the official setting. And you can hardly collect organic polymers from baby Kairuku. If you are in single player, increase the maturation rate by 2.5 times and Kairuk can fully grow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@@Mgen_Gaming my server i play on has custom setting so you cant kill babies but the admin told me how to harvest them still its not as effective but i have to claim them put 5 meat than wait 15 mins till they grow than use a special mod gun to kill them maybe this will help others playing with mods 👍

If I can farm it at least one day I can produce a lot and build a lot with the poly. I know the 30 min polymer decay but I will store it in preserving bin or in snails.
