Oh God!!!!! I have been studying all these things manually to start my online business. And let me tell you guys, this is the simplest guide you'll ever found. Don't underestimate the hard work by the simplified explainations by LLA. Also I wish if there's a way to make team without money. As many of us lack two things only, money and a team. Brilliant marketing strategy for your journal. With this video, on one side you are help the people in need who are planning to become an entrepreneur. On the other hand, since this people are also your target audience, you marketing the superior quality of your product from production fase to get your customers introduce the product in a personalized manor while justifying the price and creating the requirement of your product. I haven't bought the journal but one minor suggestion from my side (as I write a lot in spiral notebooks) is that, I noticed in 2nd version the pages are sharp at edges, I use certain classmate spiral books where the edges of the pages are slightly curved (round hote hai), so that can be something you could implement in 3rd edition of jagruk journal :)

But this suggestion can be implemented in this year editing as well. It just need round/ curved corner cutting which can be done easily through machine cutters on ready/finished journals. Just need extra safety to ensure accuracy and avoid damage.

I have recently pass out from class 12 from jawahar navodaya vidyalaya and continuously acquiring knowledge in sector of business, investing and personal finance. Which is quite exciting to learn. But I am not able to monetize my skills which is why keep trying to improve my knowledge. I do not comment on most of video i see on KZfaq. This is a great video which can develop some idea how a start-up business works. But my only question is how should I decide the final price of the product like how I add all my production cost, marketing cost and also what should be the % of profit that I can take. If you make a video on that, it will be beneficial for me.

Pricing is a difficult point to gauge. You can go for cost based or value based pricing. Former is simpler. The latter gives you more margin but is equally difficult to predict. The best option is to survey a set of your Target customers and give them your product to test. Then ask them based on the value they derive, if your suggested price seems fair. Accordingly you can take a calculated decision. You can also go for competitor based pricing but then again that will not yield you the margin that a value based pricing will. In summary, pricing depends a lot on the market dynamics, your competitors, & the perceived value of your product.

You may explore the option of getting the print done through repro india . They do print on demand and also deliver directly to the customer. This way you can save on unsold product.

Hi LLA, I like you good attempt to solve the biggest question. It covered all basic steps and process to bring a thought to end user I felt some details are lacking in the video but if u cover them it might become a MBA class :) I look forward to see a full video on each of the section you have covered. Few questions like 1. How to fund the vendors 2. How to do the market study for ur product and competitors. 3. How to do the research on our product 4. How to do the cost analysis 5. How to iterate your product to make it better I know you have covered all of these but fell like details are missing.

First of all salute to you guys!!!!! Thanks for making such a honest, practical and informative video on real product development to sale. But still...... I feel that this video doesn't include anything about the IPR or more precisely we can say about the copyright of the journal design. I think you should talk on that matter too, in another video.
