Hey everyone,
In this video, we build the 9th and 10th Doctors' TARDIS from Doctor Who in Vanilla Minecraft (no mods). This includes the exterior and the interior, and is a remake of one of my older tutorials. Enjoy!

Fun fact: matt smiths interior changed in series 7 because they were moving studios and couldn't take it with them due to expenses.

I've found the Honey blocks backed with yellow terracota to be a nice wall texture for this TARDIS. You on Java or Bedrock?

Any idea on how you might make the transition to the interior without command blocks? I'm thinking about building this in survival but can't really think of how you might go about doing it.

this is a really stupid question, but if you were to remake the 11th/12th doctor tardis, could you do a mini tutorial to go with it on how to make the corridors look for that particular console room? they are an odd shape in the show and i just cant figure out how to make them look correct in minecraft

pretty sure it works on both versions. you just have to make sure the trapdoor is on the front of the block not the back.

The only problem is how bright it is. In the show this coral tardis is much darker but everything else is very good!

not really much I can do about this using vanilla lighting - you can fix this using shaders though :)

I mean the 2005 version is VERY dark but the 2009 version is maybe just slightly darker than this I would say.

That would take quite a long time haha I would recommend using the world download and taking a look in a separate world, then building the TARDIS in your survival world if you're playing on java, I would also recommend a mod like litematica to count the specific amount of resources needed

how difficult was it to make this video in a way you thought was clear? judging by the sounds as you're talking, you are actually talking live while building, which must have been complicated.

very difficult haha that's the way I do all my tutorials, talking while building. the raw footage for this video was around 2 hours+, so it took a *lot* of editing to create a (hopefully) simple to understand video.
