The handywoman lives in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht.
You can follow the entire process of building the plunge, a small or tiny swimming pool, spool or cocktail pool. And maybe you also get inspiration for: Build your own swimming pool
or how to make a cinder block pool. Juist do it, build your own concrete pool.

ten thousand people have the nerve to dislike this. WTF is wrong with people. Those 10k people have probably never lifted a hammer in their life. Building a pool, regardless of size, is a massive project that 99% of homeowners would NEVER consider to build by themselves.

Nicole is in BEAST MODE. She used a micro-mini excavator, a hand saw, hand tools, a decent cordless drill, and a small tile saw to build this entire project pretty much by herself!!! Wow. Fantastic work!!!

hi can you help me on a concrete block pool should you use a tanking system or a moisture sealer .wont just rendering plus waterproofer make the pool leak through the concrete blocks .I would like both your opinions quivver77 and Nicole Michael any help appreciated,In the video all you put is universal primer thats just some glue that wont stop water going through the block.I do realise the pool has worked but just confused how its not leaking.

My father use to have his own business making installing pools and maintenance, he was in Saudi Arabia for 2 years in the 70s building for the Arabs . Was fun going to work with him at these really posh rich homes near Stratford upon Avon , while he done maintenance, I would always be allowed to have a swim . I’m in total awe of what you built, your so confident and skilled , your enthusiasm and energy is admirable. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Homemaking is what she was doing. She saved her family a lot and provided a place for her family to cool off in summer. I'm for biblical values too, but she did a fantastic job.

This woman is a real inspiration... I was a tile and stone mason for 6 years and a concrete finisher for 3 years. This lady’s quality of work succeeds a lot of the masons I’ve worked with... real feminists should be paying attention to women like this. I just happened on to this video and decided to watch it because I wanted to watch the pool being built ,but honestly thought that the whole family would be building the pool even though the title said NICOLE MICHAEL DIY. Anyway I want to give the young Lady her props for doing a very good job because she did 95% of the work herself while the res of the so called family just gave advice and the kid probably just irritated her while she worked.. Really don't know how she put up with all of the rest of the family bugging and getting in her way .. So I just wanted her to know how proud of her I was for showing the rest of us how it's done .. Excuse my French but she's one bad ass Lady in my opinion 💯👍

I'm a hard worker and I've worked on some construction projects--dug a drainfield, put shingles on a roof, laid flooring, hung wallpaper, sewed my own swag-and-jabot drapes. But Nicole's abilities are amazing! My father would have LOVED her (he was a genius, too--designed and built his own tunnel-hull ski boat, built his own house, completely dismantled his Volkwagen van to paint and reassemble it). I watched every single episode, completely riveted. So much of this boils down to sheer hard work, but like sewing, you have to think ahead, or the finished project will be a disaster. I could probably manage the pool itself, but somewhere in all those pipelines I'd get LOST, lol. Thanks for such an informative and interesting video! Greetings from Florida. 🤗

STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! Wow, unbelievable. It is a little small, though. I know, it's a small property, but if I were to do a pool in my backyard, I would make it go around the edge, so I could swim in an infinite loop. I just finished a whole home remodel, floor to ceiling, lighting, wiring, cabinetry, etc. The worse part was the bathroom, had to gut it and start from framing to finish. Its awesome to see other women building! Come on Ladies! Don't let men have all the fun! Great job Nicole!

Annie's Passion I ripped out 2 full baths, one I replaced the garden whirlpool tub (ick!), and replaced the vanities and re-tiled both...basically by myself. The hubs did a little..lol

Well, even if you do, in a society primarily ran by males who see women as weak creatures that need their protection, this is a prime example of how strong and capable women really are... I mean come on, not only do we manage to push a baby out our vaginas, but we deal with mini labor pains every month and still manage to get our jobs done.
