Can anyone help? I moved from ps5 to pC recently. I play on 144fps but I can’t bunnyhop. I do it just fine on console but it doesn’t work for me on pC(controller). It works if I use the scroll wheel mouse but it doesn’t work on controller. I’ve tried reducing my fps but it’s thesame. Any help? I keep staggering and bunnyhopping doesn’t work. It’s really frustrating.

@@elijnr there is a bhop bug specifically around 144 fps. 140 fps works fine for me I've been using it for a while now. make sure you're capping your frames from launch options

I would really like to see more training tips for learning lurches or ”neo-strafing” for exemple hows your thought process when practising. Are there any good spots in the firing range specific to practis chaining lurches on. For example if you fail a lurch and gets caught in a crouching position or no speed slide - you need to Wait a few seconds before you can lurch-slide again. Useful little tips for us that can do the lurches but cant nail them ”in a chain” to do a neo strafe (for lack of a better Word)

Now the term neostrafing commonly means strafing in circles with forwards ras strafes and backwards ras strafes like shown in the video. Thank you though it means alot! :D

The purpose is that when scrolling while holding SA or SD it gives you lurches to the side instead of forward

the timings are difficult to master. make sure you are not rushing the inputs and instead try to have a short break after jumping before you do the lurch inputs.

It's a weird bug that happens because of your fps. Depending on your fps cap you should increase or decrease it by like 3 and see if it helps. (I play 140fps instead of 144 because of this)

Yes. The timings will feel a little different but you should be able to do even crazier strafes if u practice enough with that double bind.

Yeah I use 1 3 1 grip. I got used to it by just forcing myself to use it all the time, not just in apex. Could take a couple days to get used to!

@@Jonzaa Also, one more question how do you chain them together exactly with the BHOP? Does it matter the order of the forward or backward lurch? Like for example can you do two or three forward lurches and vice versa with backward lurches. Or does it have to be forward lurch then backward lurch BHOP?

@@Dayz671 You can chain them however you want, be creative and unpredictable! As long as you have successfull inputs and end up going sideways you can do either a forward or backwards lurch strafe after.

Don't rush with the inputs. Realize you can have a short break after jumping, before you do the lurch inputs. Focus on pressing down SA or SD for the whole duration of your tapstrafe scroll. (don't let go of them too early and don't scroll tapstrafe before both keys are pressed) If you still have problems, send me a clip using an input overlay on discord and I'll help! jonza_

Those are cfg's tho. U cannot do this on controller without cfg as far as I know

You can't see this in console lobbies because it's not possible on controller without being on pc. You need really good aim and prediction skills to counter this (or aim assist because it reacts to the direction changes instantly)

@@Jonzaa I guess what I mean is that there are PC players in premade squads that are against console. They may be small, but they always dominate the games like TDM and gun run. I wish I didn't have to fight premade squads of pros

These are lurch strafes u master these u can get the feels of the neo so imo idt neo stafing is necessary because neostrafing is a combo of these lurch strafes

@@HorizoneLove ctrl is my sprint, shift is my crouch. I use space to jump because that makes it easier to time the inputs (it helped me when I was first learning the tech). this is not an easy mechanic and us "youtubers" have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours perfecting the tech.

Okay, let's say. You're doing this. Ctrl, shift, space sa/sd, mouse wheel down (W), if you can show me how your hand moves that fast. and you don't get confused and accidentally scroll up (space) would be nice.

Never mind, just finished the video. I'm now a veteran movement player with 5 years of experience... Cannot fathom how some people can't grasp the pure importance of input timing. Crazy world we live in.
