Great Vid! Came here via Austin as I just bought a 1991 Coke which I would describe as a "safe queen"...looks better than your 1st 16710. A few very light marks here & there but only seen if you look real close. You can judge the amount of wear from the original caseback sticker which is faded but still all legible. A one owner watch that never had its caseback removed. Remarkably, this unserviced 32 year old runs beautifully. Super smooth winding & +5 secs a day. The old style full set is amazing. The booklets look like they've never been thumbed thro, the guarantee certificate is pristine, tags & presentation box absolutely as new...even the outer box has hardly any wear on the corners. The boxed set is so good, I wrapped it in bubble wrap before putting it away :) All in all, about the best I could hope to find for a tritium model.

Thanks for this! I bought one for my sons 21st birthday when he was born back in 2004. It’s never been out of the box. Ever. He’s getting a swatch. I still also have the store receipt. I think it was about £2000 roughly. Not selling.

Here I am just hoping to find an unpolished 16710 coke with box and papers, would you know a decent price range for that?

Question, I have a 16610 Z serie (sold dec. 2006) only one sticker between bracelet. Seller told me Rolex stopped already with the green back sticker and start with transparant.The watch is flawless so I believe it’s never worn but I can t really find the info about the back sticker. Maybe you have a thought? Thanks.

Hi Sarasvati, don‘t quote me on that but I think they started using the clear sticker in 2007. More importantly maybe, what are the first two digits of your Z-serial (sale vs manufacturing date)? Also, I would say the clear sticker that is being used from RSC after a service should have a red edge and not a green one like the clear sticker they started using at some point for brand new watches (relevant if there‘s still a caseback sticker on yours). Hope this helps

@@donbeekie sounds like you have the 3186 movement in there also. If you can confirm that you have the most desirable 16710!
