I got a CVD in E VS2 round brilliant ideal cut with the IGI certificate and its a lab diamond with no after treatment and it's an amazing diamond worth the money spend

I don't know why he stated this. In general, there is no reason to avoid CVD diamonds. HPHT is diamond created using High-Pressure High Temperature. Many of the HTHP diamonds do not meet the standard for jewelry grade diamonds - type lla diamonds. They often contain metal traces in the diamond. CVD diamonds are usually better quality and pure carbon; these diamonds are grown from a mined diamond seed. I've done quite a bit of research, and unless i missed something new, CVD is the better choice.
