It’s cool to see the things that you look for when buying on eBay. It makes me nervous to buy anything on eBay, but if you know what you’re doing it seems easy. Great video!

The noe bag is great! It was my first purchase from LV and it's still in great shape. It's a great one to toss everything into and not worry about possibly breaking any thin straps. I do slightly regret getting it in the damier azure, but the colour has held up beautifully (with barely noticeable transfer from my jeans) and the leather is now nice and honey coloured which goes better with the damier azure (imo). Hope you get the bag soon and enjoy using it as much as I have! Looking forward to your review to inspire me to get back into the noe!

Ohh that’s so great to hear that you still love your noe and that it’s held up well! It’s a gorgeous bag and a classic for sure. I do love the DA print, but I’ve always been so scared since I can be a bit clumsy haha.

@@LValiquette yes! Idk what I was thinking for my first LV purchase but I think I just fell in love with the DA and the leather and at that time I was pretty young-ish wasn't a fan of the monogram and colour (yet).. Love your videos! :)

I enjoy the hunt of shopping pre loved. I have purchased off eBay a few times. Most recently was an epi petite noe. Definitely important to do your research. The biggest thing that can’t always be fixed, other than cracked canvas, to watch out for is odor..! Musty odor often won’t come out and it’s often not disclosed.

Ohhh yes the musty odour! My LV Montsouris had a bit of smell, it was noted on the listing, but I read on purse forum to put it outside with fabric softener sheets in it. It worked for me, but I may have gotten lucky 😂. Ahh the Epi petit noe is gorgeous, I hope you can get a great deal on one!

I bought a vintage Gucci from a Japanese seller on eBay for $100. The Japanese sell designer goods for a fairly good price and are very transparent about the defects on the bags. The bag I received was very dirty but in much better condition than expected. I cleaned it and will paint the leather parts.

The criteria sheet is a great tip! Basically takes the guess work out of it! Doesn’t meet the criteria? Move on to the next!

Would you recommend purchasing an item through the shops own website or Instagram store over their ebay? At 11:00 the bag is from DCT-EP and I’ve looked at that shop’s website and insta many times. I’m wondering if there’s any benefits to purchasing from them through eBay ?? This video is really helpful to see your process! 🤩

Good question! I was actually on their site too looking at the bags! I do know eBay takes a cut from the sellers sales, so I think most sellers would rather you buy directly from their site. It’s funny, because it’s about $20 cheaper on eBay too. But I did see they offer 10% coupon on their site...so that could be the benefit!

You can find some websites that will give you an estimate. But it really depends on the amount the seller lists the bag at when sending it.

@@LValiquette ok thanks I just bought my first gently used louis vuitton bag last week off of ebay. I would prefer something coming from the United states that was going to be verified authentic through their authentication program. Those bags seem a lot more expensive than buying the ones from japan. I was just curious ab how much extra custom fees would be lol. I ended up getting a steal bc I did find a bag that was being shipped from us and guaranteed authentic in my price point. The seller spelled the name of the bag wrong so I think it did not get as much attention as it could have gotten bc other past solds were around $1500 (some in worse shape than the one I won) and I got mine for $750!!!!!! Thanks for the info.

Great video! Would love to know if you got the bag. My one tip to anyone reading this is to always make sure the bag comes from a smoke-free environment (if the smell of smoke bothers you). The stench is so hard to get out, omg.

I will keep you updated! You are absolutely right, if smoke is an issue, definitely make sure it comes from a pet free home. It’s almost impossible to get rid of the smell! Thanks for adding this, will be helpful for anyone who sees it!
