After hours and hours of searching, everyone says the yellow wire on the bypass is optional for alpine if you don't have the foot brake wire coming out of the radio harness. My bypass wasn't working and it was so frustrating, I found your video and hooked the yellow up and not the green and it works!!!! Thank you!!!!

I love how they say in the description that using it in a passenger vehicle is illegal like audiophiles haven't been illegally downloading music since the early 2000s. seriously though this is a super useful tool for situations where you can't wire the radio to the parking brake.

I like the reverse wire for back up cam but the parking break thing gets in the way of letting movies play on long trip

Very educational content with instructional video. I have a Boss BE10ACP in my 2001 Toyota Tundra and simply want this capability so that my son can swivel the screen and watch videos while we ride around town. I think I understand that the Boss will use a basic ground connection to bypass, but the bypass relay makes it all encompassing and thorough. Thank you for the help!

My car will only let my Passenger connect her phone with Bluetooth if the car is in "PARK". Could I just switch the wires that go to parking brake and make them go to a wire showing car is in PARK, if there even is one??? Great video by the way. 🤠

Looking for some clarification. How does the relay tie into the vehicle harness that connects to the stereo harness? I currently have the blue and black wires connected between the two harnesses.

Is a great video. I’ve got the JVC KW-Z1000W. Install shop didn’t even put the regular ground so even when its parts I can’t get a video. I’m looking to bypass. I hope this works for the same radio.

Ground it to the head unit, free and simple

on the new pioneer DMH-1770nex and dmh-1700nex models this will not work. pioneer put in another delay crap and now you need a momentary switch in between the bypass (in between the blue wire). i am starting to hate pioneer

can't you just wire the parking brake wire to a switch and ground it, then flip the switch after the radio boots up grounding it.

Hopefully you can still respond but, how do you make the green parking brake wire from the stereo become “grounded” to the chassis of the car or the metal of the stereo itself? Like how do you make it stick with the end of the wire to the metal so that it’s grounded??? Hopefully you get what I mean

Just grounding it is even easier. But I give you credit to make a few bucks per buyer.

I'm wanting to install a parking brake bypass on a stock ford stereo. However, when I located the green, black and blue wires I found there was either conduction shield or what I think may be called bare wire running alongside these three wires. Question is.. how do I deal with the bare wite when installing the parking brake bypass? Please excuse my verbage and terminology - I'm new to this. Thanks for your time.

This video is loaded with so much bs and filler it is ridiculous. We dont care about the law, hence the reason we want to bypass the ebrake. So get over it and move on, how to do it. Over 8mins in before you get to how any why it works....not even to how to defeat. LoL dang
