Thanks for checking the video out. It seems like a simple concept but I see people asking how to add a fuel gauge from time to time so I figured it would make a decent video.

excellent vid. i wish i had thought of that before. I just ran the bike til it sputtered and I had to change to reserve lol.

Meh, same difference. I just start to get anxious once I know my tank is getting low and like actual numbers.

The best and worst my 2009 Honda Shadow Aero miles per gallon are 60 / 46 miles per gallon. Sixty miles per gallon was achieved by riding smooth, steady, and no faster than 50 miles per hour on a military post. Forty six was the worst miles per gallon, and was before a carburetor rebuild while riding 70+ miles per hour for 120 miles. Mostly average 52 - 56 miles per gallon. Take care, ride safe.

46 mpg at 70+ mph is pretty dang good. Best I could ever get was around 40 and that was before the intake and exhaust.

Does 2004 honda shadow 750 have tripmeter that can be reset?

They all should have one, the button should be on the side of the speedometer.

According to your methodology, you can turn on engine, do 0 km and you will never run out of fuel...
