For people that it does not work and it says that they have purchased it through Apple: go to settings > Your Name > Media and purchases > Subscriptions and cancel it there This worked for me

Was finally able to cancel it. For me, Weirdly, I had to go on my Google account's subscriptions, and it was right there. I was able to cancel it there. 😅

Check standing instructions on your card. It'll show you all standing instructions. Then cancel Microsoft from there

Same for me. I cannot follow the instructions from the video because I do not know which account the subscription is on. My bank could not block MS so I hade to block my credit card and get a new one.

@@paddlaistockholm : I finally got a person from my credit card company that understood my frustration and I was informed that even though my CC was changed- the person did not remove the code ( forgot the actual term ) they put in on accts to keep it billing to new Card. Microsoft said i was paying for an old Xbox acct!!

It really depends on when you bought it. If it's recent, then yes BUT if you've had it a while and used it then, no.

I got charged yesterday for my subscription (didn’t realise it was set on recurring billing) I tried what you have shown yesterday and it just displays I can’t cancel until October 2023. Very annoying as I can’t seem to be able to get this cancelled and refunded. I also wasn’t aware it was set on recurring billing so I did turn this off yesterday.

People need to report these complaints to the FTC. The Federal Trade Commission. I’ve had to do it in the past for some thing else. But that is it’s purpose. To look into complaints like these regarding businesses, who are misleading and mis-serving the public, taking our money. So people keep that in mind and learn to do something instead of just complaining.

I have tried to sign in 100 times I am not kidding oops is all I get this has gone on for 2 years I am sick of it and sorry you were no help either it is messing with the volume and the typing and it does not need keys cleaned I want this off or I am going to get the BBB on it one way or another I have had to fight for things before but Microsoft is a demonic piece of work
