you have to remove the glovebox and it's on the right hand side

brilliant video 😎 that car is very rusty underneath like my car 😂 don't you need to bleed the fuel? my 2008 Avensis is almost rust free 🤔

Thanks! yeah was bit scabby this one! I think this one had a prepump in the tanks.. I can't quite remember tbh it was a while back I did this one

I tried to drain the fuel filter housing by loosening the 18mm drain plug. After about 30 minutes I checked to see if it had finished draining but it was still going, looked like about a gallon in the bucket. I decided to quit while I was ahead and just closed the valve. Is it normal for so much fuel to drain from the filter housing?

Hi Twig, no that's not normal, it must of been syphoning .. best thing to do it that case is to crack a pipe off and introduce some air into the system.. that will stop it dragging through 👍

Did you have to prime the fuel? How did you do it? I have a 2013 tdci would it be the same setup? Thank you

no I didnt this time but it can sometimes help to fill the filter with fuel or pull some fuel up using a primer pump if need be 👍

What is that pipe to the right of access to the oil filter,on my focus cabriolet this pipe hindered my access to oil filter ,I ended up tearing the rubber under the clamp when putting it back toghether.

Hi I can't quite work it out but I think it may be a water pipe
