A lot of people are asking why i got an H board. I got the H because at the time of this video it was all that was in stock and it was very cheap. I'll be switching to a Z370 very soon but I needed to get this video done before I left for Vietnam :)

She was licking the HDMI cable sorry what were you saying? Leaving AMD? BLASPHEMY! Quality SSD install though, double sided tape would've been better, or if you have a PSU shroud just slap it on there. Nothing like showing off your SSD. Wait, no sound on that side panel peel? Hey Barry you ever thought of doing an in-depth thing on computer audio? Headphone amps, DACs, stuff like that? I recently upgraded system for that stuff and it improves everything, music, games, music inside of games...
@ZyrusSmith
@ZyrusSmith 5 жыл бұрын
I second this but a good headset will make a big difference. Or are you talking about an in-depth guide explaining the parts of headsets?
@loonachan
@loonachan 5 жыл бұрын
@@ZyrusSmith Not something that technical. Qualities of headsets/microphones are probably the most important thing when considering audio, but most people don't know that the digital-to-analog conversion on most mobos/sound cards is rather mediocre, regardless of how great your headphones are. Though, it might admittedly be more important for a music-listening experience than gaming specifically, and most DACs aren't geared for USB outputs (I just use a separate headphone/mic, keeping them separate can give you superior listening experience).
@ZyrusSmith
@ZyrusSmith 5 жыл бұрын
@@loonachan In my experience, I've found that drivers tend to be the most important part about headsets. In fact, if you know a lot about headphones and what specs to look for, you can buy really good ones for under $40. The best pair of headphones I've ever owned was some brand I've never heard of for $20. I knew they were going to be good because I looked at the specs.
@loonachan
@loonachan 5 жыл бұрын
@@ZyrusSmith Well the issue with headphones is that it's partially a preference thing, but certain drivers need more power to actually drive, which is where the headphone amp comes in. And like I said, the best headphones in the world won't truly be able to sing on a computer without a real DAC. Not actually sure what you mean by specs- whether you're talking about performance specs like THD or tangible specs like impedance. You can get into impedance, and different designs (open-back vs. closed. Personally I can barely even listen to closed-back cans anymore). It's true that you can get some really good headphones for relatively cheap. Not sure if the mystery $20 headphones will satisfy me, but you can get some really great setups that will blow your mind for not a lot of money.

I wouldn't call the Ryzen 7 1700 to 8700K much of an upgrade. One is better on other things and the other on something else. I would have simply changed to 2700X for best of both worlds. Keeping the multi-core performance while getting better single core performance than the old. EDIT: 8700K with a H370 board? Can't even overclock the cpu with that. Meaning this was actually more of an downgrade.

Honestly watching you build computers is so relaxing. Something cool that you could do would be to create somewhat of a series of this. Idk maybe building a budget build and at the end of the video you could do a give away or something. I'm not to into watching the tutorials on how to build a PC but yours was very relaxing and it's from a youtuber that I regularly watch which made it all that much better. It would also be a cool way to give back to the audience. I doubt you will see this since this video is old but it's just a suggestion. I know I'd watch the videos if you ever did something like this. But I'm also fine just watching the rest of your stuff as well.

Is it worth getting more than 32 gbs of ram if I'm only interested in gaming? I don't really have worries about pricing but I'd rather save the extra 300 dollars if it wouldn't actually affect anything.
@epicn

Firstname LastName 16 gb works fine for gaming, getting a memory kit over 32 seems overkill in my opinion. I couldn’t give you much info technical-wise, perhaps someone else could give some insight into that.

It's not worth getting 32GB, 16GB is great for gaming with discord, chrome, and other apps in background along with having headroom. 16GB is also great for video editing. Not major professional video editing, but for like 1080p video it's great

@coreyberg7823
@coreyberg7823 5 жыл бұрын
PlaneCobra look up a tutorial on how to delete system 32. Its not as easy as just going into your windows file and deleting it. Look up a tutorial on how to do that and you should be set, as all the bios files are stored in that folder. Once you delete it, you should restart your computer (it may do it for you depending on your windows version.) When booting up, it should take a lot longer, as it is reinstalling the original files. Once it’s done your computer should be free of the bios virus. Do be aware though, some things may have changed, such as shortcuts, taskbar pins, wallpapers, etc, nothing too major though. Hope this helps.

We don't speak of it. It can go back to the creater who thoughtfully decided to have removable, finacky contacts to power fans and other parts that are somewhat necessary.
@MPdude237
@MPdude237 5 жыл бұрын
Molex connectors are held in by friction only, but unlike HDMI or USB or other friction lock interfaces, molex is very tough. Another issue is that poorly made molex connectors can have the pins ripped out when attempting to remove them. I have also heard that they are difficult to align and that they pop out. Can't say any of this from experience though, my PC or any PC I have messed with, always used SATA power.

Why aren't you talking about how bad that case is? There's no mesh at the front meaning you get tons of dust inside, metal is cheap, easily dented, HDD bays are made of rubberized plastic making them insanely difficult to put in, if you have too many cables at the back the tempered glass won't stay closed. You can get a way better case for half the price! You shill! Trying to avoid talking about the case by making the video about case swapping, GTFO!

dude that's toxic. if he doesn't mind it, he doesn't have to complain. He got sent the product, and made a video with it. he critiqued the slot covers, but he wasn't paid to say anything good or bad, but he obviously doesn't mind if he swapped his main PC into it.
