I always try to keep a stockpile.

I have a mini stockpile where I will grab 1 or 2 extra items of something when they go on sale so I have it if I run low and we always have a little extra meat in the freezer. You are definitely an inspiration for getting 1 month ahead on bills!!

I became so overwhelmed with trying to cash budget my monthly bills that it became difficult to enjoy. I definitely needed to hear the comment about how that is not the first binder we should attempt to start with. 💕💞💗

Yes Florida does help you with insurance cost. I love it here. I’m going through cancer treatments, everyone is so helpful, and I do feel I’m getting great care. Love my oncologist and doctor. I wish you the best of luck.

Michigan has healthy kids and medicade ..idk about state insurance unless that's what healthy kids is ..I find trying to understand the American health insurance system frustrating 😑 I had excellent Obama care for a long while...I moved 5 blocks to a new house and my payments changed from $180 a month to 875..a month...It ended up being cheaper to pay the penalty at tax time when we had that

i love that youre prepping! its always a little easier knowing that there is something to fall back on if an emergency occurs or increases in demand or cost prevent you from having items you require to survive/thrive.

You should talk to someone in social services about maybe keeping your boys on Medicaid being they have medical conditions. Even if you make too much financially being you are self employed you can break down your expenses to fit in the bracket. I know someone who did this in Alaska as the healthcare there is very high, even for people with higher incomes.

Hi Jordan! just wanted to tell you I love the pantry stock pile! much more fun to save that way then just putting money in a random envelope. I save $31 a week for it and I color the highest number and the lowest number each time. It’s working out great! i’m using it for Costco shopping.

I’ve been following since you had around 3-4K subs and I find that there are definitely more men in these groups and subscribing to the channel which is good because for a while I really felt like I was alone out here lol. So, now that you’re making (I’m thinking) substantially more income then when you started doing this do you see yourself getting away from cash stuffing? When you could just put all that money in the bank because you are making over and above what you need. Do you ever see yourself just using the debit card and knowing you have plenty of money in the bank to cover everything?

I do my Bill's all through my bank account. I budget and subtract all my Bill's first, then subtract groceries and then take out cash for sinking funds and leave a monthly buffer in my account for online purchases or unexpected expenses. Then I always have a $300 buffer in my account for any medical trips that could happen. Both of my boys are special needs and both of have complex medical conditions (type 1 diabetes and Jeavons syndrome) I find it hard to find a budget system or stickers that work for me personally.

I am looking forward to supporting Snowball’s and his two sibling's diets😂. Launching stickers on your shop was a brilliant idea!!! It will help me so much in the way I choose to budget.
