My pattern says cast off 4 St's ( 1st St remains on right needle) does this mean I knit 3 St's and pull the 2nd st over the 3rd?

Every time I try this casting off technique it doesn’t become as elastic as I want it to be, do you have any tips or tricks to make it less stiff? ☺️☺️

Should probably go over the last step again there. DO NOT JUST YANK OUT THE NEEDLE AT THE END! Learnt that the hard way.

Is there a pro tip for making a super stretchy cast off? I don't want it to be as stiff as it is with the above cast off.

I would assume to just not to tug as hard as you would if you want a looser end. Kinda like when you cast on and make a row. Hope that helps!

Hi! I need to cast off in a middle of a row and it says I need to cast of 10 stitches but does it means I’m gonna work 11 stitches from the row above?
