Oneida lake is NY's largest inland lake that is very well known for its walleye and bass fishing. If you happen to ever fish NY it would benefit you to visit Oneida. I'm sure you'd love it. Chuck Paninski

my name is jim costI. I live in northeast Oregon and I am trying to learn walleye on the Columbia river system. the common techniques are harnesses, vertical jigging, pulling cranks. lots of 30 - 50ft stuff down to well over one hundred. bottom has some very plain bottom with barely any structure. sometimes, I will mark fish spaced out over a depression, but there is 2 million carp. I am not sure how to start as I am beginning to learn. 64 years old I have a 175 tracker and 2 Garmin vivid 9 graphs with standard transducer. I'm not sure you will come across this note, but thanks in advance if you do.

Hey Tom, I'd love for you to come up to the upper Mississippi(St Cloud to Champlin stretch) and show us how to consistently find the walleyes within all of the smallies we have up here. Water is high right now. You could run your boat anywhere right now, or you could guys can run my riverpro. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help make that happen. Cheers.

curious on ML settings, how deep is transducer to be able to see the surface. do use any of the auto settings? i can see a large shad rap barely at 20-30 max. i know i could not see a jigging rap on fwd. i can see a 1/16oz jig under a bobber just off the boat hanging over the side fishing crappies off cribs.

On a tough day like that would it be worth while to just start cranking that deep break? Would you ever consider sharing your GPS screen so we can see your structure and how you set up on them?

They're basically the same bait with slightly different action. Interchangeable.

This is Craig Moore from Shumway il . Have you ever fished any lakes in Illinois we have walleyes in are lake shelbyville iil. They sre very hard to catch do you think you will ever cpme this far south to fish ?
