On the side? I think that the lock for helmet or something like that right.

to do things "properly" you should completely disconnect the negative before you undo the positive, and you should connect the positive completely first before you connect the negative. Not that it is a big deal with the CB750, but some big flash car with lots of electronics... your spanner on the positive can connect with the earth metal of the car causing sparks if the earth is still connected...
