TV repair , defective : no picture , no backlight , only shadows or only sound.
Repair consists in replacing a led bar.

Thankyou very much. I found the replacement lights for 10 euros an ali express. Installed them according to your video and my TV is as new.

Your video made a seemingly frightening job easily possible. I know my TV is old - but after having replaced all the LEDs, resoldering dry joints on the PSU and replacing the electrolytic capacitors, hopefully, it will last a good while.

Wow, man! You made that look super easy taking that apart. The other night, I struggled with my 46" Samsung for about 5 hours, total, with disassembly and reassembly, as I tried to get the frame off, not wanting to break any of the plastic. Also, the parts I need are out of stock.

Hi. Thanks for your video, I have the same problem with a TV I got from the Junk. Everything works but not the LEDs, I'm gonna test voltages on the power supply, but I think the LED strips are bad. Where can I buy LED bars for TVs? I can't seem to find any place on the internet.

Hi there. I have a samsung F5500 40 inch that started with shadow in the lower part of the tv and then in a moment almost 90 percent of the screen became low light -as if i had turned off the brightness of the screen. Is it possible to be something like this?

Hi!! i have a question for you. I've a problem with the same TV, but the LEDs are ok. In fact when i connect the AC cable to the yellow board, the led switch on (like in 9.30). But when i connect the green board to the yellow one (like in 13.26) and i connect the AC cable, leds don't switch on. What could be my problem?? Can you help me please??

Ceck the connector of the screen, or the flexible cable. Ceck it all the way to the screen, first visual, to see if it is any damage, if not, try with a multimeter

Almost fainted when you powered on and flipped it to check... Metal structures and bare naked live boards don't mix well...

white reflector is sensitive so why put a hard object into reflector? it can be scratch. causing white in-blance on screen.

sawajiri100 the frame isn't a hard object. TV backlights aren't like mobile phone backlights, are far less sensitive.

Andrew Ludendorff I mean the white reflector behind on frame or TFT screen assembly. three layer of white reflector soft plastic board its easy to scratch also water damages like your saliva during you speak. did you know what I mean to saying?. the only i want to say just for your concern! bal bla bla

try to illuminate the lcd pannel with the phone flashlight and see if there is any move. if you can darkly see something the backlight doesent work.

Yes, I can view with the phone flashlight, then, the doubt is: if I can't see anything, is because all the stripes are broken, or may be only one?

More than certainly is just one or it might be the power supply.

Found a faulty led strip, does anyone know if it needs all strips in place to illuminate? I turned tv on with 4 in place and get nothing .

@@imkrut So long ago I forgot I'd made a comment! Anyway, because the parts weren't easy to get hold of and I also suspected the power supply might have been faulty (probably one problem caused the other) that I ended up getting a new TV! I hate throwing things away as I used to be a TV engineer but that was back in the day when you could change valves and transistors and individual components!
