The wheel can be removed and replaced with the disc in-situ. You do not need to remove the disc from the wheel before removing the wheel. At 5.38 you forgot to put the retaining threaded ring onto the Schrader valve sleeve before fitting the dust cap. Without it, you will push the valve ( or extension ) inwards when you try to pump up the tyre.

That was an education . Unfortunately the sound was very poor and l could only vaguely hear what was said . My grandfather was a chauffer for the Singer (sewing machine )family and they had 2 pre war Rolls Royces . I have the certificate that Rolls Royce gave him for excellent service . In later years Max Bygraves discovered and restored 1 of the cars , and popped over to our pub and took my mother for a drive ! I'll check the registration to see if this could be one of them ! Tally ho !

I doubt the RAC would be much help if you had a flat tyre on the road, so a set of RR original tools in the boot is a must.

£2500-£3000 for an original set of tools (if you can find them). They are very often missing from Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles.

@@chapsnaps1 A new wheel brace will cost a few hundred pounds. That's all you need to change a wheel.

@@arburo1 Yes, you can get a newly made Rolls-Royce wheel spanner for about £325. I was referring to the complete tool kit that came with the cars. My 1934 20/25 is great, but the icing on the cake would have been to have had the original tool kit with it. No chance - unfortunately! I'll have to keep looking for the original tools online, and at car boots/swap meets.

@@chapsnaps1 Some cars didn't come with a fitted tool drawer. It was all down to what the original owner wanted. I don't get excited by pristine tool drawers and just carry my own full tool kit, plus a full set of special tools in the workshop.

@@arburo1Compared to modern tools they don't cut it. Snap-on tools are always the best - and the most expensive. My Rolls is coming off the ramp in the week after Christmas. Going to grease the hubs, replace the spark plugs with Champion plugs, and check the tappets. Then going out for a drive and a good lunch - weather permitting.
