Hi Wendy, You most likely already know this but for your audience, It’s also important to put graphite (no.2 pencil) on your bridge to help the string glide over smoothly. You also don’t want the strings to pull your bridge towards the fingerboard because the legs will be leaning and it’ll start to warp. Another tip, loosen your fine-tuners, the more they are screwed in, the more sound can feel stiff. Also, clean the fingerboard from the rosin!

For the other two strings you should record before and after changing to see if these an audio difference

Ifshin’s changed my strings free of charge yesterday. What a difference! I have no idea how old they were because they came with the cello. I’ll never let them get that bad again!🎻🎻🎻🎻

Oh how I love Larson strings….right down to the cute little wax seal on the back. At nearly £200 a set they’re not cheap lol😮
