In this video I'm showing you how I changed the CV joints on my Mitsubishi L200 (K74). Most likely you will see enough similarities for this video to be helpful seeing as most drive shafts/CV joints are almost the same.
I also briefly show how I took apart a CV joint completely and then reassembled it.
Prior to this video I had already changed the CV boots a year ago and I haven't been working the truck very hard so I'm unsure why they've failed so early. The previous boots were of the stretch type and I had used a CV cone so maybe I overstretched them? Or perhaps they weren't very good quality to begin with.
This time I'm replacing them with the non-stretchy type so I hope they last a bit longer as 1 year is simply just poor performance!
