How to change door lock cylinder on a Mercedes Benz W163 ML320 ML350 ML430 ML500

Hi Guys,
In this video I show you how I changed my door lock cylinder on the drivers side, I had to replace the drivers side door so I wanted to ignition key to match the old door key.
You only need one tool a 4mm allen t handle you can buy it here amzn.to/2WoPo3U

Hey Joe, have you repaired any of those ML key fobs/remotes? Mine is basically shot. Would like to replace or repair it.

Yes I've ordered some of those cheap ones on ebay but never had much luck, it takes a little modding just to get the key to rotate you can make it work, but I've found i've had to grind down a couple parts and use some super glue lol. Maybe I'll make a video one day on that. My buttons never worked though.

Where did you get the lock from? Please don't say Mercedes. I had a junkie use a screwdriver on my ML and don't want to order a new key and parts from Germany.

@@joesnowmobiles Essentially everything that can be shipped to Canada is on the Canadian (.ca) eBay website. Trump's trade war has made it very hard and expensive to get parts from the US. It is like time travelling to 2007. I feel like I'm back in New Zealand (the island of misfit toys) where every car part costs 200x what it does in the US. You could retire by smuggling car parts in NZ on a rowboat, no joke.

Mine was $100 at the dealer and it came with a extra key
