I do not have access to the e-mail linked to my facebook account. I did not set up trusted contacts, nor did i link another e-mail or phone number to my account. Any options for me on how to reset my password? I can access my fb account on my phone app because it was auto-signed in, but I cannot remember the password that I signed up with. Did not work for me. It keeps wanting me to login to another account. Will not let me use my cell phone number that IS in the account. Tells me it does not recognize my cell phone number. When I use my name I am not on the list.

Help, I changed to a new phone and I was in the log in page when I opened the app, I used my linked email and typed in the password which I was very sure unchanged, but it did not recognize the password, so I resorted to going to "forgot password" I then got the code, but then when I keyed in the new password that I wanted to use, the system somehow did not register it and said "unknown error", please I need help asap because I have games that use this specific Facebook account and holds precious progress!

i didnt know how to enter the settings page on facebook and change my password but if u dont want to log out then when ur in the page where it requires ur old password and u forgot it u can press forgot password and enter if u want them to send u a link on sms on email and when they do u press on it and enter ur new email, it takes some time for it to get sent successfully but when it does u can change it without loging out
