Hi, you didn't realize that flashing TWRP failed at 3:27. You cannot flash recovery partition in current ROMs/devices with fastboot.

Hi Alex. I tried flashing my Mi 11 Ultra currently on MIUI 13.0.13 (most recent stock CN rom) to the most recent EU rom via TWRP. After my attempt to install TWRP, I got a prompt on my phone saying "cannot mount storage". I read somewhere that TWRP doesn't work on MIUI 13 (Android 12 anymore?) Do you have a work around for that?

@TOPFONE4U could you explain how to bypass safetynet while having a phone from China - flashed with Global firmware, now device is not certified. / also not passing Safetynet. How to bypass successfully with root? Could you show it with your Mi 11 Ultra to bypass safetynet on the Global Firmware

Can you please advise how to upgrade MI 11 EU ROM as you said there is no TWRP upgrade available for MIUI 13, and I am currently on EU ROM 13.0.7. How can we upgrade my current EU ROM version to the latest version 13.0.12? You said, we cannot TWRP upgrade to MIUI 13, so do we need to either wait for the fastboot version for 13.0.12 or we need to do a clean format and reinstall 13.0.12 on the existing version 13.0.7? Is that a correct assumption? Please advise. Appreciate your help. I follow your videos on youtube.

@TOPFONE4U, good day! Appreciate the video. I recently bought redmi k40 pro plus and it came with the CN rom in it. I was planning to change it to EU rom however I'm still waiting for the period for unlocking the bootloader. If you would be so kind to answer my question please, I've seen some videos when flashing EU rom that they click only the batch file for the command to begin without the use of TWRP. Will that be okay or is it recommended to use TWRP for flashing? Highly appreciate your advise on this.

Yes, you can definitely use the fastboot to install the ROM form xiaomi.eu however if you want to update in future and the latest fastboot ROM not available you will have to install TWRP recovery first then update using the .zip ROM

Thanks for your informative videos , after installing the latest EU ROM for mi 11 ultra I can't sync Google contacts and Google pay is also having and issue because there is no permissions to access contacts but I can't find anywhere to enable permissions for them , appreciate if you have a solution

the first time you login with your playstore account, it will ask you to allow google to sync your contact. if not done you can do that by going to SETTINGS then ACCOUNTS select google and enable sync

In order to flash the ROM you have to unlock the bootloader which will factory reset the device.

One question: at 6:33 you select WIPE DALVIK + FORMAT DATA... but in your past videos, you just use the FORMAT DATA command after flashing the ROM... why this difference? Why don't you do the full format first, but only after installing the rom? Thanks in advance for your answer!

you can skip wipe dalvik and just Format data. everything will work fine.

Hi bro, I a problem with my mi 11 pro after i got a update 12.5.17. i cant use the camera for photos and videos and it keeps showing a msg (insert SD card beofre using camera). 2-cannot save any screenshots and i keep receiving a notification says (couldn't save the ascreenshot). 3- i installed the WhatsApp and when i open the App. it keeps showing that its still preparing to restore msgs with no progress (download paused). i din,t know what i do?? Please help med :)

Just do a factory reset and everything will work as normal. You are facing some sort of permission issues

No, to swap ROM you need to use the Mi flash tool, make sure you don't lock the bootloader when you are flashing the ROM

the only issue will be some banking apps will not run because the bootloader is unlock, if you are OK with that then I would definitely install the Global ROM

Since TWRP is not supported in MIUI13 you must download the Fastboot Update and install from your PC.

Hi I am a new subscriber of yours, great channel and info btw ✅ I have one problem with my Mi 11 Ultra, if possible could you do a video please or give some help on how to solve this? I accidentally did a factory reset and wiped the phone. When the phone rebooted I followed the normal setup procedure, but when I try to access the camera the phone keeps displaying "please insert sd card" and I cannot access the camera. What ROM version have you got running? It sound like there is an issue for the ROM to fully access the storage. Try doing a fresh install of the latest ROM

If your bootloader has been unlocked already you can either use the fastboot ROM to flash or TWRP with the recovery ROM

Sound like the storage is still encrypted, make sure you enter the screen unlock code when you first run TWRP to get access to the storage

Once your bootloader has been unlocked you have to install safetynet pass to allow google pay to work, or use the ROM from xiaomi.eu which comes with safetynet pass
