2.0 TDI 2003-2004 I4 16V AZV 1,968 cc 100 kW (136 PS; 134 hp) @ 4,000 rpm 320 N⋅m (236 lb⋅ft) @ 1,750-2,500 rpm
in this case was my touran 1T from 2003, but it applies to many other VAG cars. the reason i did this was because on the VCDS test it showed the folowing error: 17056 - Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit (Q11)

Took me a while to find a good video, this helped me change spark plugs on a VW Golf GT MKV'07' only thing I would say is the Cam shafts get in the way and not alot of room for manoeuvre, so a slim/short 8mm flexi adapter would stop ya sweating lol cheers again 👌😎

Actually I used a low force. If i remember i had it on 15nm ...At this engine the glow plugs are in oil so it was easy. Just remember to use copper grease when you install the new one

What is the special tool you speak off... I have always used a 8mm deep reach 1/4"socket?

Hi buddy I have a Sharan and the glow plug lights flashing on the dash are these easy to do as they are in oil any tips on not snapping them

It's a torque wrench fella, the dial is set to the allowed torque the glow plugs are tightened to.

@@mdon1662 glow plugs are only used when starting up the car so it doesn't have a rough startup

if 1 is faulty, you can still drive it. no problems. even if 2 are faulty you might be able to start it. but in the winter you might have preoblems. it better to change the asap and change all of them even if only one is faulty. i did exacly that. i scanned with vcds tool and i had only one with problems. i change all of them
