How To Change High Beam DRL Headlight Bulb To LED VW Golf MK6

Күн бұрынIn this video i will be teaching you how to change your old orange looking halogen bulbs to a more brighter white light LED, which will also last longer too. These bulbs do cause a bulb out error but it doesn't bother me too much as the onboard canbus works fine which means the lights dont flicker at all only thing is the error stays on but that is fine it doesn't bother me.

Nice bro i hope you enjoying all the mods and upgrades i doing, i love that car 160hp stock, but beware that version of the car has issues but keep up with maintenance and all should be good. Enjoy your new car

@@MrWaheedulHaquethanks yeah! I am enjoying your videos. Its been so far very helpful. Currently mine is all in stock version. Basically I got it from old lady. who bought it brand new long time ago. She did few scratches on it but its in good condition. With under 54k miles on it. Whereas in October I have to do all of its maintenance and oil change etc.

Bro I have the same vehicle but I cant seem to add my bluetooth handset to audio system. Also I dont have a multifunction steering wheel . Please do a video of it. Thanks

I have no clue do you not have user manual for car?, also you should be able to find it online or on youtube on how to use the mfd without mfsw

How do you see at night and does the light "spread" on side since you instaled led bulbs to stock headlights? People say it will be better to have headlights with lens for xenon/led

No if you buy quality product the beam pattern is as good as xenon, nice cut straight beam, have a look for example at my bmw one i done recently i showed the beam pattern on it, its such a nice line its incredible, and i not been flashed once yet by anyone and they been in car since november

@@MrWaheedulHaque thx bro. My friend bought before few days for his vw mk6 led lights and they are so bad. He paid it a lot but line is not going straight forward but all around (left and right) and in front of him at dark it isnt good at all. Visibility max 30m so ppl told him he needs lens for led/xenon and not just like that. But to instal lens in his headlights they charge here around 250eur

@@marshalonegaming probably bought a fog light bulb rather than a headlight bulb, good bulbs cost around 40 to 70 gbp, but well worth it

@@MrWaheedulHaque dlr/high beam led bulb here in my country 70eur he bought the most expensive one. I did want to instal full led light too but aftet I saw his experirnce and from one morr guy..no thx. Ill drive on my halogene light atleast they are rly good and visibility is awesome 😁

Yes its mainly the right side that is hard to put in but removing air filter box will sort that out

High beam no give me error only low beams did these bulbs worked fine for me with no error

Did any lights come up on your dash for the different bulb type

At first no but after few days it does now, also flickers 3 times on starting up of car but it not issue for me as i used to the light on dashboard now haha, i could wire in resistor but i not too bothered by it, and it only flickers on startup never when using or driving so all is good

@@diarmuidbrannock5354 it flickers only on startup as i dont have canbus adaptor, but after that not again at all until i shut off car and turn back on again with light on

How did you get the 0-60 down to 5.8s

I think its the added torque my engine has over the stock, if you watch my dyno run video its got more hp and torque than standard, plus at time of recording that time i had pirelli tyres on the car and they were amazing on grip, ill be posting a 0 - 60 video in few weeks, i also gonna do a muffler delete which should get rid of a lot of weight and get a remap then ill do a 0 to 60 for them too see if they make a big difference

Also the mk6 gti torque is 280, stock mk6 golf is 250nm, mine had an additional 15 nm making it close to a gti torque, and torque is what matters on 0 to 60 times, hp matters for top end speed
