The Kia Ceed (known as the Kia cee'd before 2018) is a compact car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia since 2006 exclusively for the European market. The Ceed was first unveiled on 28 September 2006 at the Paris Motor Show. In mid-2007, the station wagon version called the cee'd_sw was launched followed by the three-door pro_cee'd in early 2008. The second generation of the cee'd was presented at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, Kia presented the third generation Ceed. In September 2019, Kia also unveiled the XCeed, a crossover SUV based on the third generation Ceed.

Thanks to your video I knew what to expect inside the light casing before changing the bulb in my Ceed. Even if the job is not a rocket science there are always some details that may be a pain. Keep up the good work!

Hi ! thanks for this video. I've just bought a proceed from 2022 with halogen bulb. Do you know if on new cars, there is enough space to use a LED bulb with cooler system ?

Hi, check the wiring that goes to the bulb and fuse too. You should have the location of the fuse in the car manual. Thanks 🙏🏽

When changing the light main dipped bulb, does the windshield wiper fluid tank have to be unscrewed and moved a bit out of the way? It doesn't look like there is enough room to access it otherwise

Thanks for explain, but as a hint, you should use gloves or avoid to touch the bulb itself , the grass of the skin just shorten the lifetime of the bulb. Or at least clean it after touching.Halogen bulbs, tubes and capsules are made of quartz, rather than ordinary glass, so they can withstand the higher temperatures. If you touch the bulb with your fingers, the salts and oils from your skin will damage the bulb and cause the heat to concentrate. This can significantly reduce the life of the bulb or even worse cause it to shatter. For this reason most halogen capsule bulbs that you buy will be sealed in plastic inside the box.

Yeah, is there a difference? Tried it today. Got the cap off, and twisted the light fitting as in this video. It came loose but I couldn't remove it. Is there something I'm missing? It's like I couldn't get the lugs to line up. Also the wires attached to it felt like they'd get damaged if I twisted too much. Not much room to manoeuvre or even see what you're doing...

@@LisztyLiszt Hi, would you like to tell me if you were trying to remove the right hand side bulb of the car or your right hand side as you are looking at the car, because I tried to remove the bulb of the left side of the car, like in the video, as I see in the video the car is with RHS steering wheel, I have a model for Europe with the LHS steering wheel, I tried to remove the bulb on the driver's side and it has some kind of U shaped socket that I was unable to remove it, also on the 1.6 CRDi the air filter compartment is so bad positioned that I can't see anything and just tried to remove the bulb blind, I couldn't remove the air filter compartment at the time but I would love to know if there is any way without removing itmoving it

Hi, unscrew the arch line from the bottom and you should be able to get to it, if it’s unreachable through the arch line then you’ll need to remove the under tray. Thanks 🙏🏽
