Is the heat from the led bulbs going to melt the lens

I got a interior pack that comes with license plate lights.. xtremvisionhid but the bulbs are too long they dont fit..they hit the lense u cant snap it back into the housing .. All the interior ones are fine.

This was very helpful. I struggled a bit but finished the job. I kinda feel like the bulbs I got from Fred Meyer are not as bright as the original but I’ll have to see when it gets dark how they look. Are LED bulbs brighter than standard?

Get a 0.9 inch length of T10 LED Bulb. It’s a good size. So You won’t get trouble trying to fit a 0.9 inch led bulb.

why didn’t you record yourself twisting it counter clockwise. mine isn’t twisting at all

Most of the time those bulbs are too long. And burning out the lenses. We can just pop up out the light assembly
